Quick things to do in Amsterdam!

You must have seen our previous post about Delft, you can see how beautiful the city was, with all the buildings and views of the city. Well, Amsterdam is just as beautiful! In this city, the sights and types of homes are similar with the ones in Delft, but because Amsterdam is a bigger city, the streets are more crowded, there are many tourists and more attractions

It’s about 1 hour from Delft, ride the train and stop at the station Amsterdam Central  (if we are not wrong). You can also  directly use the wifi in the station for a small update on your social media if you want. Here are the places we visited in Amsterdam

Of course, the first thing to visit in Amsterdam is the famous I Amsterdam large letters which is the “must go to” place in Amsterdam. This place is super crowded with tourists (especially on weekends). The tourists don’t just come here for photographs but near the letters, there is also a small pond with water fountains where you can just chill in and relax. We were there in the summer, so many tourists were also sunbathing here. LOL.

In addition, we tried some culinary and the street food there. There were a few small shops selling ice cream, waffles and burgers. We enjoyed the waffle with ice cream, you can also choose the waffle with whipped cream. Honestly, in Amsterdam there are a lot of beautiful buildings. Unlike in Delft, Amsterdam is more crowded and you need to be careful along the way.

If you love watching movies, especially romantic movies, you should not miss to visit one of the famous places. A bench fromone famous scene in the movie “The Fault In Our Stars” This is a bench beside a river in Amsterdam where Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) were sitting. In fact, there were some people puttingflowers and a lock as a sign that they want their relationship to go well.

Next, we enjoyed Japanese food. The Famous Ramen in Amsterdam,  Ramen Ya, which is located in Oudezijds Voorburgwal 236, 1012 GK Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Ramen came in a very large portion, and the sauce was delicious. It’s totally recommended!

A Vacation in Amsterdam is always a good idea for making wonderful memories, there are many places such as museums, the photo shop with the Holland theme (that we also haven’t tried) and many delicious foods to be found here. We would be very happy to come back to Amsterdam again, hopefully it’s soon:)
